Potted roses, a helpful alternative

Potted roses are helpful alternatives for city residents, and those who live iin a condo or an apartment.  Actually, potted roses can benefit anyone who has a spot on their lawn, garden or porch for the beauty only a rose can provide.

It wasn't long ago when no serious rosarian would even consider having a potted rose. There might have been rare exceptions for a temporary solution when they had run out of space but couldn't resist buying just one more plant. Times have changed, of course.  Whether you live in a small place in Boston or in a rambling farmhouse in rural Vermont, you may find good reasons to use potted roses.

Remember that not every type of rose is a good candidates for growing in pots. These varieties have been found to do better than most.
